Scientist's Electronic Notebook

This Distributed Objects application was developed as a visionary prototype for a Consortium of major Pharmaceutical firms and is intended to replace the standard paper notebooks used by scientists and create Electronic Notebooks consisting of authenticated data records and. The authentication process consists of electronically signing, witnessing and notarizing daily research activities performed by the authors.
The Electronic Notebook accepts various Electronic Record plug-in modules such as Non-Repudiation, Audit Trail.
The design is based on the ASP.Net architecture.

Remote Fault Tolerant Cluster Manager

The product was an administrative tool used to configure and manage an enterprise-wide fault tolerant cluster of Windows NT-Server compute and storage nodes running under Isis, a fault tolerant kernel.
The product won Best-of-Comdex award.

Product Developer's Workbench

This business re-engineering tool was developed and deployed for a major financial institution. The product enables financial product analysts to develop and maintain products and services for financial institutions.
The application enables users to graphically define organizational information flow, product diagrams, describe relation types and define rules between financial Services, Resources, Systems and Technologies. Relationships and dependencies among categories are created and highlighted, allowing trouble spots to be identified before resources are committed or changes take place.

Ultrasonic Intra-vascular Imager

An Ultrasonic Intra-vascular Imager, consisting of a rotating ultrasonic sensor inside a catheter was developed for a prime manufacturer of cathetrization equipment. The product prototype was developed over a period of 12 months using a team of experienced developers with expertise in diverse areas including RF design engineers ultrasonic transducer developers, digital and software designers as well as catheter and probe design specialists.
The probe consists of a tiny piezoelectric transducer attached to a two-millimeter rotating catheter, is inserted into the body via the femoral artery into the heart chambers and arteries.
The Ultrasonic catheter is now in full production with thousands of units shipped around the globe and distributed as attachments to ultrasonic imaging equipment provided by major medical equipment manufacturers.

Dental Ultrasonic Imaging Microscope

A National Institute of Health (NIDR) Grant provided for the visualization of Root caries with Ultrasound imaging in aging populations.

Document Version Control System

An extension for a Client/Server Document Management Toolkit developed for a provider of Document Imaging and Management tools. The project involved augmentation of existing two-tier Server with additional database objects designed to allow the creation and maintenance of multiple versions of compound documents.

 Workflow Product

Designed GUI software for a major Document Imaging and Workflow manufacturer, a Windows based client/server application (InConcert) workflow product. The software client provides the means to (re-)structure projects into Processes, Documents, Workers, Roles and resource pools.

Remote Wireless Instrument Administrator

This application was designed for a major medical Instrumentation manufacturer.
It is used to configures foreign languages, uploads new versions of code on Manufacturing floor and in the field, configure parameters and diagnoses problems in real-time via wireless communications.

Remote Instrument Interface

Remote Interface Application for an Analytical Chemical Instrument used as a Remote Front Panel to perform Instrument Configuration, Calibration, and Diagnostics.
The application programs the instrument remotely via special complex menu oriented language and translates the menu language into dynamic Widows wizards and Forms allowing the user to program the instrument using familiar Windows paradigms.
